Nineteen hundred and ninety-nine saw the birth of the SOCSKSARGEN Federation of Fishing and Allied Industries, Inc. (SFFAII) in General Santos City, Philippines.
Since its inception, it is guided by its Vision-Mission to lead the SOCSKSARGEN Fishing Community and create a singular voice towards attaining the Fishing Industry’s sustainability and global competitiveness through advocacy works in the local, national, and international arenas.
This year, SFFAII turns 20. Through the years, it has acted as a catalyst of change with its unrelenting commitment towards a sustainable and responsible fishery.
With its present membership of nine associations, the Federation continues to embrace technology innovations, lobby key policy agenda through representations, and move forward to strengthen the Philippine Fishing Industry.
